Methodologies

The methodologies used in this project are driven by a desire to allow the voices of children and young people to speak through the research, by using child-centred research approaches. It is anticipated that methods will include focus groups, interviews, participant observation, and a range of participatory research techniques with children and young people, such as, for example, photography, essay-writing, artwork and diaries. Special attention will be paid to research ethics, drawing on best practice in research with children and young people.
