Methodologies

‘Methodologies' is a word that means the things that researchers do when they do research projects.

In this research project we used lots of different ‘child-centered methods' because we wanted to be sure that the children and young people who took part in our research had a chance to say what they wanted to say.

The kinds of things and activities we did in our research included:

We thought a lot about the best research rules we should use, so that the children and young people (and their families) would not be harmed, in any way, by being involved in this research project.
